The Chorus was formed in 1945 to give high quality performances of larger scale choral works, usually with an orchestra.
Currently about 50 strong, it is actively seeking new singers in all voice parts, but especially tenors and basses.
It performs three or four concerts per season in venues between Oxford and central London, but principally in Reading.
We also take part in regular exchange concerts with our twin choir in Düsseldorf, the Johanneskantorei.
The Chorus rehearses from September to June on Monday evenings at the Wesley Methodist Church on Queens Road, and new members are always welcome.
