Dear RFC,
Thank you all for a fabulous concert last night. Such wonderful singing, concentration, attention to detail and particularly impressive dynamics! Text was crystal clear too with every word heard even at the back of the chapel. It was a lovely venue in which to sing and I received so many positive comments from members of the audience (even about the Britten!) both in the interval and afterwards.
Thanks for your hard work, dedication and friendship over the past year. The choir is in a good place and we’re progressing all the time.
No more Britten for a while, I promise..
Shout outs to Judith who played a demanding programme brilliantly and the sopranos who had their work cut out too - what lovely ‘solos’ in the Rutter and Stanford.. bravi!
